Specials Starting Monday January 31st
Curry Ya Chicken Salad: Chicken meat from a whole-roasted chicken coated with Madras curry powder, celery, red onion, golden raisins, crushed cashews, fresh ginger, chives, Asian pear, curry powder & mayo. 7.25 baguette or wrap
Silom Soi 4: This sandwich is inspired by a street in Bangkok called “Silom Soi 4” which is home to many fun bars & lounges. At the end of the night one end of the street has many food stands hawking delicious street food to hungry drunks. One of the best stands is the “Mu Ping” stand which sells BBQ pork skewers with sticky rice. The skewers are small, so you need to eat 10-15 to fill up. This sandwich uses pork marinated in the “Mu Ping” style.
Grilled country-style pork ribs marinated with lemongrass, palm sugar & ginger, cucumbers, mayo, pickled carrots, jalapenos & cilantro. 7.75 best with baguette
Hanoi Classic: This is a classic Vietnamese sandwich – pan-fried Vietnamese pork roll — aka Vietnamese bologna, mayo, cucumber, pickled carrots, jalapenos & cilantro. 5.95 best on a baguette
Asian Cobb Salad: Romaine lettuce, hard-boiled egg, bacon, grilled chicken, avocado, tomatoes, edamame & homemade miso-ginger dressing. 8.25
Soba Noodle Salad: Buckwheat noodles tossed in a peanut-ginger dressing with edamame, cabbage, carrots, cucumber, bell peppers & sesame seeds. 6.95
Wietnam: I didn’t spell Vietnam wrong, this is how it is spelled in Polish. Many Vietnamese immigrated to Vietnam in the 80s & 90s. The Vietnamese population in Poland is around 50,000. This sandwich is a combination of Polish kielbasa & the Vietnamese banh mi sandwich.
Smoked Polish kielbasa, house pickled cabbage, house pickled carrots, cucumber, mayo, jalapeno & cilantro. 7.25 best on a baguette
